VENGEFUL

Vengeful has been a challenge. I decided to find another editor to align to my 2019 schedule, and sourced one through an online forum, but this turned out to be a disaster! I learnt a number of things in the process. Not everyone is who they say they are!

I received the manuscript back and after seven pages, closed my laptop, and began the process of getting a full refund. You might ask why?

The edit consisted of multiple sentences which had changed the intent of the sentence. There were sentences which made no sense at all. A characters slang had been changed to proper english. It was edited to American English.

I lodged a compliant. There was a lot of tooing and froing and evidentially I got my money back.

I found myself another copy/proof editor, and thankfully the result was better!

The extra time taken to complete VENGEFUL has misaligned my 2019 schedule, and I'm hoping over the next few months I'll be able to make up some ground. It's been frustrating. I've questioned myself and what I'm doing, but I kept going!

Today, I feel proud I've completed VENGEFUL and look forward to launch day 26th March 2019.
